Written with care
People in pain want straightforward answers: can you help with my problem, how many sessions might I need, and what will it cost?
We write your pages from your brief in calm, factual language and avoid health claims the advertising rules don’t allow. You review and approve every word before your site goes live.
The guide
A physiotherapy, osteopathy or chiropractic website has two jobs. It has to help someone in pain decide to book with you, and it has to stay within the rules on health advertising. Here is how we plan and build websites for musculoskeletal clinics.
Most people arrive with a specific problem and three questions: can you help, when can I be seen, and how much does it cost? Good structure answers those in as few taps as possible.
Online booking is the biggest single improvement most clinics can make. We link or embed your practice software’s booking page, such as Cliniko, Jane, WriteUpp or Pabau, and put a “Book an appointment” button on every page. On mobile, a fixed bar gives one-tap booking, call and WhatsApp.
“Physiotherapist” is a protected title, so anyone using it must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and chiropractors with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). Showing each practitioner’s registration and professional memberships, such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, builds trust and lets patients check for themselves.
The UK advertising code (CAP), enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority, applies to your website. Claims that a treatment helps a particular condition need good evidence, and the ASA has issued specific guidance for osteopaths and chiropractors.
Most patients search on a mobile. We aim for the main content to load in under 2.5 seconds, with no layout jumping as the page loads, by compressing images, avoiding heavy sliders and keeping plugins to a minimum.
Anything a patient tells you about their health is special category data under UK GDPR. We keep contact forms to the minimum fields, never ask for medical history in a website form, add clear privacy and cookie notices, secure the site with SSL and keep everything updated.
